Some manufacturers of garage roller doors have produced their product so it can be installed by the individual who has bought it and therefore cutting out the installation cost. However, this seems to have caused some individuals to believe that the garage roller doors are not that durable or professional if a non-professional can install them.

But this is not the case, an advantage of installing garage roller doors personally is that you will be familiar with the product and so if a fault occurs you will be more equipped to deal with it yourself.
